ANZAC biscuits

In Te Ngahere we have been doing maths about Anzac biscuits. Each group got a A3 piece of paper with the questions on it. I enjoyed figuring ways to get the answer. Next time we do this sort I think i can do more sterges to work it out. This is the DLO I made to show you.

Coding Speoro

At Paihia School we have robots. We have been learning to code them. I enjoyed coding the robots at different speeds. I think I did well getting my robot aiming at myself so it will roll forward. Other people even had to go from one piece of paper to another. It was very fun to do but still very hard. The hardest things to do was getting it to turn the right amount of degrees.

Doubling and halving DLO

In Te Ngahere we have been learning to double and halving ( multiplication ) in maths. I think I did well because I was able to answer it the first time and not have to rub it out and try it again. I enjoyed the word problem because it set a harder equation for me. One of them ( word problem ) was 4222 x 5 = 21110. I think the next time we do this that I will be able to finish one whole sheet of math in one day so the next day I can do the next sheet.
